What’s excess cover?
If you need to claim on your car insurance and have to pay an excess, the free excess cover will refund the cost of the excess up to £250.
How do I get my free excess cover?
It’s simple. Just compare and buy car or home insurance with us, and we’ll do the rest. We’ll email your policy documents between five and eight weeks after you bought car insurance with us. If it’s been more than nine weeks, let us know.
How do I change my password?
You can securely change your password by:
- Clicking the ‘Sign in’ button, located in the top-right corner of the site
- Enter your sign in details (using your existing password)
- Hover your mouse over the ‘My Account’ button (located in the top-right corner of the site)
- Click on ‘My account details’
- Select the ‘Manage password’ tab
- Enter your existing password and your new password.
- Retype your new password and then click ‘Save’.
I’ve forgotten my password. What should I do?
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a link to a page where you can reset it. To do this:
- Click the ‘Sign in’ button (located in the top-right corner of the site)
- Click the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link that appears underneath the ‘Sign in’ button
- Enter your email address. If you’ve got more than one account linked to the email address, you’ll be asked for your first name, surname and date of birth.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button
- We’ll then email you a link to a secure page that allows you to reset your password.
Once you’ve reset your password, you’ll be taken to a page where you can sign in to your account.
